Community Association Services and Regulations for Residents and Owners

PARKING

Two parking spaces are allocated for each unit. Parking spaces are marked with painted unit numbers within each space. Please park any additional vehicles in the public on-street parking area.** The parking lots are for normal-sized vehicles only. Campers, boats oversized trucks need to be parked elsewhere (not on the street). “Abandoned” or non-operating vehicles in the parking lots that sit longer than 30 days, are not displaying a current state registration sticker on the license plate, or pose a safety hazard may be towed by management at the owner’s expense.

**Vehicles  parked in the public street are subject to City of Woodland Park parking ordinances, and if not moved within 72 hours may be towed at owners' expense.

TRASH

Columbine Village HOA provides for household trash collection on Monday, Wednesday and Friday, with exceptions for holidays. All trash needs to be bagged and placed inside one of the trash bins in the collection sheds and not on the ground. Items specifically NOT ALLOWED in trash bins are: scrap lumber, scrap metal, items containing refrigerants, hazardous waste items, asbestos, chemicals, batteries, oil, paint, tires, or other items that are corrosive, explosive, flammable, radioactive, volatile, bio-hazardous, bio-medical, infectious or toxic. Concrete, dirt, tile, rock, brick, asphalt shingles, hot ashes, manure and other excessively heavy items are also not allowed. It is the resident’s responsibility to arrange for disposal of any items not allowed, oversized items, toilets, furniture or electronics. Any extra expense incurred by CVHOA due to disposal violations will be billed back to the unit owner. Residents may call Teller County Waste at 719-684-3142 to make separate arrangements for items that aren’t allowed in the trash bins at their own expense.

SNOW REMOVAL

Columbine Village HOA contracts with a vendor to remove snow from the parking lots, sidewalks, decks and steps. They will use ice-melt as conditions warrant and try to have the walks clear by 10 a.m., subject to the conditions of the weather. Snow removal is for a snow event of 3 inches or more, and does not include intermittent clearing of walks due to blowing snow, or mitigation of ice due to thaw/freeze daily cycles.

GROUNDS MAINTENANCE

Columbine Village HOA also contracts with vendors for seasonal grounds-keeping, mowing, tree service and Fall clean-up. CVHOA also maintains the perimeter fences and front decks/handrails.
